Getting ready to install; Best place for antenna and small black box????..Any antenna I have had in the past was mounted on the dash and worked great. thanks

Not sure about the ant. but if you removed the small amp I was talking about then there should be plenty of room back there for the gps box.

I would put the GPS ant. inside the upper dash pad ..center. That's where the OE ant is put. It will have best clear sky access, next to actually putting it on the roof outside.
