Default Nav System/XM Radio

Ok i looked and couldn't find an answer to my specific question so here it is. If I bought a 2007 CrewMax Limitied with Nav and it didn't have the prepaid XM, can I activate the XM on my own and work with out having a extra plug in unit. By pushing the Sat button and making it work seamlessly?

Thanks

Yes, you should be able to activate your XM radio feature if you have access to the XM activation number.
I'm not sure but if you push the SAT button, does a number show on the display. Is there any information they (dealer) gave you with a number on it?
If so, go to XM Satellite Radio - America's #1 Satellite Radio Service and click on "activate your radio" and follow the directions.
Hope this helped!

Drink more. It probably won't help you understand better, but it just might, and that's a chance worth taking....

Is the XM tuner pre-installed in the 2007? Unless there is a tuner integrated into the stock head unti, you will need the tuner. The tuner is what has the XM serial number you will need to activate your service.

another way to get Free xm since I'm taking advantage of this is buy your Xm services for 1 year then call and cancel it after 6mo the signal will be back on because Xm will restore it vs them being charged to de tune it.Hey it works within my Navi and I have Xm all 177 stations for free I do recall my friend on Ts with his traded in Sequioa still working too..
