Default LOADING.KWI for JAPAN - anyone have this?

I have the dreaded Japanese screen with English text saying incorrect disc.
It seems that if I load a disc with the LOADING.KWI file fom a Japanese disc, I should be able to get in and change the region back to US.

Can anyone help out?

edit: I have a GEN2/3 NAV unit.

To the best of my knowledge from our 03 Camry you have to have the North American Denso disc for the USA. Those disc's aren't world wide but region specific.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to syphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????

There is a screen to get to the override function of the NAV and while in that screen, there is a setting to switch the language of the unit.

I was in that section but instead of escaping from it, I selected a different region so now my unit is looking for the Japanese disc.

If I give it that disc, I could switch back to the US program, but I can't find the disc.

I wasn't aware of that feature so I've learned something today. Thanks for the education

Just don't go into the Program screen.. this is where I screwed myself by changing the program to ask for a Japanese disk.

Did you upgrade your DVD from 2.1?

I'm getting the same thing as described here.

I've updated twice once to version four and last week to version 6. Mine is a Gen3 system.

Tom, I sent you an e-mail this morning with a link to that version 6.1 KWI file download on filefactory. We just got back from a vacation trip and I started installing my Eclipse AVN-5510 this morning.
