GPS and Navigation AssistanceOEM Car, Aftermarket and handheld navigation discussions.
This is a discussion thread titled "Where are the antenna?", within the GPS and Navigation Assistance forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
My dealer doesn't have a Tundra with a factory nav or Sat radio installed so I can't look for my self. When you get a factory nav and Sat radio, where are the antenna?
Chevy supposedly has a single antenna unit for OnStar, Sat, and GPS. Does Toyota (minus the OnStar)?
Doesn't the vehicle cause interference? On my Honda Pilot, the XM antenna goes on the dash and the vehicle tends to block the signal. I put the antenna on the roof of my 93 truck and don't have near the issues the Pilot does.
It might. I don't have factory NAV so I don't know for sure.
I mounted my GPS and SAT radio antennas on the exterior of the vehicle, so I have no issues.
