This is a discussion thread titled "E7006 NO voice", within the GPS and Navigation Assistance forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Anyone care to tell me what I did wrong? I put a E7006 in my 04 Tundra and works great except every address I input says address does not exist.
Also when I do have a destination I have no voice telling me when to turn.
Please Help................
Have you set the region? (should be in map or destination screens)
The voice could be off in the settings, or it could be a conflict with the amp you have. Do you have the JBL setup or base audio setup?

I am re-organizing my pictures, please PM me if you find dead pictures and I'll fix it. Also, I don't have many pics in my account here, best place to view my truck is on photobucket: Here is my photobucket account: LINK
Ok, I think it is your amp then, the older amps don't support the voice, it is required (if you want voice) to install a separate speaker. Check these threads out, I think there is some information regarding this. They are about the newer Navigation, but some of the information still applies

Hey RZBOBBY. How's it going? The problem is that since you didn't originally have the nav system installed you are missing the twisted pair for the voice out from the nav deck to the amp. I had to run new wires for this purpose. The amp will then output the voice over the front left speaker. Let me know if you need to know which contacts at the radio (I may not be able to give you which contacts you need at the amp - but simply download the diagram and they are labeled IVO).
EDIT: It looks like the wires are labeled INT + & - for the Tundras (IVO is what it was labeled on the 4Runners). None the less, it's the voice guidance to the amp from the Nav deck. I Pm'd you back with my email address. I'll send you whatever info I can come up with that you can use.
