If anyone is looking for parts that have the canadian part numbers, this is who I used. He was very helpful.

I ordered the camera adapter wire harness from Steve. It was shipped the same day (1-21-09) and received 1-26-09. Cost in US dollars including shipping is $46. Part no. PU069-33010-W8 (canada part no. - no US counterpart). The rest of the harness I bought from toyolexnavspec of ebay $75 including shipping. I attached a picture of what you will get from toyolexnavspec.
1. Mic connector which will also connect camera from glove box using harness from canada.
2. 5 pin wire harness to connect speed sensor, reverse, and parking brake (you will not need connection for parking brake if you dont have RSE.
3. Auxilliary wire harness - direct connection you will not need aux & steering sw wire harness.
Hope this will help future installers. I have a limited crewmax with JBL.

Now I am waiting for antenna to complete my install. I ordered a cheap antenna from ebay (hongkong or china) for $12.99 shipped but it has the wrong connector. Similar but will not connect to my nav.

Default I have a quick question.

Hi. Thank you for your helpful info.

but I have a quick question.

I have a 2008 Toyota Sequoia non-JBL.

and I got the Toyota OEM navigation system recently, but I could not install because I got the JBL compatitable.

Where can I get the wire harness to convert to JBL system?

If I were you I'd put the OEM system on ebay and install a Kenwood DNX-6140 instead -- My current nav system favorite, albeit non-factory.

But, since I'm not you and you seem sincere I would suggest you take a close look at the non-JBL instruction sheets in Acrobat format posted previously.

You will need more than a harness. You will also need a JBL digital amp (installed in retrofit location behind glove box), microphone harness, camera adapter harness, aux-input harness, subwoofer and on and on. And don't forget your non-JBL vehicle will not have as many speakers as the JBL vehicles or the voice command and telephone buttons on the steering wheel.

Canadian dealers seem to be the place for the retrofit kits or components as they haven't seemed available in the USA.

Sorry I haven't been on here for awhile, the best way to get ahold of me is through a private message. After this post I was swamped with questions and then lost my Canadian contact for parts. But I am more than willing to help anyone get through this project successfully.

Thanks and good luck,
Greg

The pdf on the first post does not include the back up camera install instructions. Does any one have that? Also, if I locate and buy an E7013 Nav system does that come with the back up camera or do i have to get that seprately? I have on 07 Tundra with JBL and I want the nav and back up camera. I under stand the NAV install but still confused on where to get the back up camera and install instructions.

Does anyone have a contact that can supply me with these parts? I saw canada contacts beeing talked about, is that still a good source?
