Default 05 DC NAV /DVD question

If i put in a DVD, it appears on my dash nav system until i put the truck in drive, then gone to the ceiling mounted screen. Is there a way to bypass this so it will stay on in the dash?

There is a lockpick for the factory nav, but I dont think it works with the RSE system. You will probably have to do a search, I cant remember who makes it and what it will work on. Good luck!
