Default I relocated the eclipse gps antenna on my 06 DC

I figured that I would share with you guys what I did to get the gps antenna off the dash where eclipse said to mount it to an unseen location without compromising reception. I was working on stopping my a pillar trim pieces from rattling so I had them off and was able to see behind the glove box and noticed some metal structure. I then removed the glove box and the trim piece that sits over the glove box, 3 screws then don't forget to unplug the little speaker. Now you can see behind the dash and will see the metal structure with several flat metal platforms. I used the one to the right of the glove box so that nothing obstructs the antenna except for the thin dash material above it. I attached the flat metal plate eclipse provided to this platform and the placed the antenna on it. Before I mounted it here I played around with different locations checking my reception and at this point my signal strength was about the same as when the antenna sat on the dash. I consistantly get between 3 and 4 sats on the strength meter and now the antenna is hidden from view. It took me all of about 15 minutes to do and now the antenna doesn't stick out like a sore thumb sitting out on the dash.
