Default Navi Filler Trim L &R 00-06Tundra Mod

Anybody who has upgraded there dual din Radio in the Tundra knows about the gap's on the Left and right hand side regardless on who makes the system.I Got the ideal from a Ts member and saw this mod on his 2006 Toyota Seq. As it turns from his Pm Toyota made this filler kit for the Toyota Celica and it work's perfect for the Tundra application. There are a few revisions you have to make but I've taken pictures step by step to show anybody interested.I wanted to extend a Personal thanks to Czechm8 for his help with Information on this mod.

:Part's List for Mod:
Toyota part number
86221-52060 panel radio rece List price $10.35
86221-52050 panel radio rece List price $10.35
(8) washer's total (2) per screw for the Navi to stick out (note there 2 bolt's per side)

First item is your going to have to Cut the Left and Right filler piece so it fit's on your application (pioneer Avic Z1 in this case) the new filler plastic bracket's must be cut since the frame is blocking putting this on from the screw's (pictures show final design)

Final design matches up for a factory finish....

Thumbs up Re: Navi Filler Trim L &R 00-06Tundra Mod

It turned out great. I think it's funny how much difference dealers charge for the same part. The guys here in WA wanted $16 per side. I got him down to 14 and it was like pulling teeth. Have you checked out avic411.com? Great info for hacks, backgrounds and other tip for Pioneer nav units.
