Default Need help with e7006 install, and hooking up digital amp.

I installed a 7006 in my 2007 sequoia, and added a back up camera. It was so mind numbingly easy, I quickly ordered another 7006 for my 2004 Sequoia. Both vehicles are virtually identical, right down to the JBL systems.

Or so I thought. Plug in the 7006, and radio stations are cranked to full volume! Wake the neighbors! Even when off, you get a constant "BZZZZZZT".

As you know, 05 and newer have a digital signal and a bigass amp under where the floor shift use to be, and the amp has a part # like 86280-0c050. 2004 and older, analog, with 2 smaller amps (one under radio, and one at rear of console, presumably for the RSE). The part numbers are 86280-AF013 (front) and 86280-AF022 (Rear). I'm guessing the "A" is for analog. Whatever.

Poking around the net, I figure I need a digtal amp. Fine I get one from a Tundra, 86280-0c040. It is visually identical to the one in my 2007 Sequoia, and had same wire harness fittings. Of course, the wire harness fittings in the 2007 are markedly different.

HELP! Is there an adapter harness of some kind I can buy?

Hey I can't help you with the harness but I am in a similar boat. I was told that there
was something wrong with my radio. when I turn it on all of the audio functions
read 0's and I have no sound. I now have two 16848 JBL audio CD Cassette players that both say this when they are on. I have done the speaker test and they all work fine. my last resort is to find the amp that I believe is blown. it so happens that it is a 86280-0C040. If you need to get rid of it and try something else let me know I might be able to take it off of your hands.

There no wire harness for sale as far as I know. I ended up building my own wire harness for my tundra. And I have E7009 nav unit
