Default need advise, installing gps and xm in overhead.

I have ran the antennas out under the third brake light and have weged a carved up piece of wood town into the middle sunglass holder to fasten the xm cradle to. It it amazeing how much stuff has to be removed the drop the back half of the headliner.... I'll post pics it looks great. the six dollar questions are is there a 12V source in the over head? if not how hard is it to run wires down the door post without affecting the airbags? I will have to run the 3.5mm din cord (for the xm) to the aux port.

okay i got the 3.5mm din cable across the headliner to the driver side windshield post and down under the dash. I also ran a wire to run power up to the console. I found a fuse panel under the dash that has an acc fuse that is keyed. is there a better way to get power up to the console or should i go ahead and get a fuse tap connector and run power on the wire i added. (i'm planning on grounding to the metal over the console)any advise will help.

Thanks

CPFAN

well i called the dealer today and the mechanic said to go ahead and use the acc fuse and a fuse tap. xm is installed and running fine. still have to route the din wire through the floor console. I'll wait till i get my gbs for the alarm and do it all at once
