Default What's The Difference: e7007 vs. e7009

Hello all,

Newbie here. I ordered a Toyota GPS navigation system and was told I was getting a "Fifth Generation Unit" complete with Bluetooth wireless mic, rear view camera, 4-disc CD changer, amp, etc., etc., etc.

Today I was notified that I will be receiving an upgraded unit which the seller identified as a "2008 Model e7007"

What's the difference between the e7007 and the e7009? The seller tells me the only difference is that the e7007 is made in the USA and the e7009 is made overseas.

Any issues with installing the e7007 in my 05 Tundra Double Cab? It has a factory radio with single CD (not the amplified JBL stereo). The seller assures me he is making the necessary wiring harnesses and that it will all be "plug and play" when it arrives.

Any issues with the story provided by the seller? I know absolutely nothing about this stuff, but am beginning to get the impression that I might need to cancel my order all together.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide...
