Default Tweaking the '08 Tundra GPS

Hey, I love my Tundra -- but the GPS is 'way less that the three-year old stick-on Magellan we added to my wife's '06 Highlander. So, here's the questions:

1. Anyone got a DVD that makes it possible for my wife to work the GPS while the Tundra is movin'? I've heard the earlier version can be tweaked to do that, but I don't want to go back to the earlier version unless it's absolutely necessary.

2. After all, the current "updated" version works inconsistantly in Salt Lake City, which is the closest "big city" to our home in rural Wyoming. I enter the city name, then it freezes up! A fix for that would be nice, too.

3. How about a tweak that allows the altitude to be displayed, like the wife's old one does?
