Default Night Mode NAV??

I have an 06 Limited with NAV. It used to switch auto-magically at night into a "night-mode" wherein the background was black instead of white. It was great because the glare of all that white in the cabin at night takes its toll on the eyeballs.

It doesn't do the switch anymore. I've gone through the options feature and even experimented with the contrast and brightness, but have been unable to locate the method for the auto-magic switch to night-mode.

Can anyone assist me?

Thanks,

EDJ

There's a setting for "daytime mode",you may have turned it on accidentally. Check the dimmer switch for your gauges too.

The dash lights were switched to the maximum brightness setting. Just roll it back and it will switch to night mode when you turn on the lights.
