Thumbs down GPS/Navigation Major Malfunction

Last Friday I clicked on my Navi to find myself on a different road probably 5 miles away. On Sunday I again tried my Navi to find my self probably 30 miles away sailing across a local lake. I searched this forum and the GPS/Navi forum and the net for similar problems with zero results. When I called the Service Manager on Monday he laughed out loud at my description and told me to bring it in and if they had to, they would replace the unit. So I took it on Tuesday and in the afternoon I get a call that the antenna connection was bad and the repair was made and I could pick it. He then asked me if anyone had been in my truck to install any equipment or devices, to which I replied, "Ya, you guys when you replaced my clock and dash vent last month". He was immediately quiet and asked when I would be coming in? I read the techs report and the antenna was un-plugged behind the dash. The same dash they removed to make the above mentioned replacements. I'm not too happy with having the hassle of an appointment but I am relieved that the Navi unit doe's not need replacement.

I had a TSB done on my hedders on my tacoma. The tech rounded most of the studs off on the install and left various wire clips off and also left his easy out 12mm socket in my cown to roll back and fourth.
