...just installed an E7006 nav system in a '05 DC limited w/ JBL....100% plug-N-play, install was a breeze. Since it didn't come with a nav system originally [I've read here] it's missing the wiring for the deck-to-amp for the guidenace voice to play thru the speaker.
Looking for general ideas on what others have done to add the wiring to the system...plugs, pins, connectors, where to find etc...or generally how you went about adding the necessary wiring.
I have the pin-outs from deck to the amp
Thank you Brad for the pin-out wiring diagram
Thank Hyrlik for the E7006 system
Thanks to TS for providing this great website!
I've installed E7006 into my friends Sequoia with JBL and his guidence is working just fine with out any extra wires added. Not sure why you would need to add anything, since you suposed to have digital amp in your tundra (05 was first year with digital amp)

Well I feel like a total fool....the voice was on in the set up but the sound level volume was set to "0"....set it to level 3 & presto! The nav lady started talking. LOL...still learning all the functions so I'll take TS's fool of the month award.
