Post E7007 e7008 e7009

Does anyone know which Toyota model(s) and year(s) the E7008 nav unit was used in (from the factory)? I know the E7009 was in an 07 Camry Solara. Was it used in any other model / year? The E7007 is currently being used in the 09 Sienna. Was it used in any other model or year? And lastly, does anyone know for sure the differences between the 3 units? They all seem to "look" the same but there must be a reason for 3 different models.

I have E7008 in Sequoia and E7009 in Tundra and they both seems like they are identical.

Ok, I've actually had all three units, as well as an E7006, and now have gone aftermarket in my 4runner. I'll try to remember what the differences were...

From the factory, the E7006 was originally for a Sequoia, the E7007 is originally for the Siennas, and has the green button illumination. The E7008 is for the 4Runners. The E7008 has amber backlighting for the buttons. I believe they started installing the 5th gen navigation systems in 2006 for the various models. The E7009 is originally intended for the Camry Solara 07 - current. The E7007 was first installed in the 2006 - 2007 Siennas.

I know this doesn't help much, but if I remember correctly, the main difference between the E7007 & E7009 was the type of amp required (digital vs analog), & I believe there were some slight differences on the screens. The 7007 & 7008 were pretty much the same functionally.

The E7006, E7007, E7008, and E7009 are all digital. The E7006 is 4th gen. The others are all 5th gen. The E7008 has orange LEDs. All others are green LEDs. I believe the previous post about the E7007 being analog is incorrect. The E7007 is in the 06-09 Sienna and has been seen with and without SAT capability. SAT is a 5th gen feature and co-resides on the AM button. The E7009 "offically" does not support RSES although the 12 pin jack is there and supports iPod interfaces (VAIS, USASpec are 2 I know work).
