Pioneer AVIC-900DVD satnav help needed, when i turn the navigation on all i get is the pointer showing where i am if i move so does the pointer , but there is no map on the screen just the pointer can anyone please help me out here have tried all the english forums no reply what so ever , many thanks everyone

I assume you mean AVIC F900BT? What firmware version?

1) RTFM (which will be on the DVD you got with your unit or on Pioneer's web site) - do a hard reset by pressing and holding both the reset and eject buttons > 15 sec.
2) Upgrade the firmware if < 2.x
3) Did you check avic411.com?

That said, the AVIC F-series are basically bug-ridden crap and Pioneer refuses to address well known bugs, even with the latest 3.x firmware (which cost $$). If you can't revive it, best to dump it and replace with something else. Again, see avic411.com.
