Default Factory Navigation for 2000 Tundra

First of all, I would like to apologize if this question has been beat to death several times over () I understand how frustrating it is to have the same questions be asked over and over again. However, I can relate to the red-faced, well, face, that is beating itself against a brick wall (see above). I have been trying to figure out what navigation unit will work in my truck, which has a non-digital amplifier. It is my understanding that a camry or solara unit of the e7001 or e7003 model number should fit the bill, though I have seen some contradictory posts. (2005 Solara E7001 Nav unit).

So my question is, what unit do I need?

Thanks

You need digital amp and wire harness (for that amp - has to be custom made)

Thank you! Does anyone know what the difference is between wiring harnesses? Is it a plug type, are there a different number of pins, would it be a matter of cutting and splicing? Sorry for so many questions, just not finding definitive answers.

If this works out, I'll DEFINITELY do a writeup to help others who may also want to do this

Wait a minute, what if I swapped the amp? Are the speaker output jacks the same? Where would I get a wiring harness for that?
So I would have a digital HU going to a digital AMP in a truck that has ANALOG speaker wiring.

Amps completely different, and you can't just take out your amp and plug digital amp in. I payed one smart fellow for digital amp and custom made wire harness. Everything works great now.

Was it just a difference in the plug shape or are there wiring differences?

Wire harness is completely different, and few different plugs of course, and few extra plugs.
