Default avn 726e 06 DC tundra question

I'm considering upgrading my truck to the eclipse avn726e, but I have a question.

First, I noticed the sticky on the top of this forum about Navi Filler Trim L &R 00-06Tundra Mod. I know if I order from crutchfield, they include this Toyota/Scion In-dash Receiver Kit Fits select 2000-up models Chassis size DD at Crutchfield.com which is the Toyota-Scion-In-dash-Receiver-Kit. Has anyone had experience with this? Do it need a filler with the eclipse avn726e?

Thanks for any input!

That's the kit I used with my AVN6620 and it looks great. It's needed for just about any double DIN Install because the stock hole in the dash is too wide.

If you end up needing them, These are the Toyota part numbers for the spacers you will need on either side of the NAV unit.

86221-52060
86221-52050

There is a right and a left side.

It's good to know that Crutchfield finally has a kit for this. Before there were any kits, the above spacers are what we used. They do require some modification to fit, but they get the job done.
