Default Sequoia Navigation - Auto Antenna Issue

I just installed the OEM Nav in my 2004 Sequoia. Everything works great with one issue.

Whenever the car is on, it forces the antenna up and the only way to make the antenna go down is to turn the car off. It doesn't matter if I turn the radio off, or the NAV off, the antenna stays up until the car is turned off. Troy at eomvalue.com confirmed that this is an issue with the Sequoia install.

So here's my question....

I'm thinking that I should be able to add a switch in the wire that tells the antenna to go up and down so that I can manually control it. I've read some mention of this but nothing specific. Could anyone tell me what wire I should tap into in order to do this? I know there are wiring diagrams out there, but I'm not smart enough to understand them all. "The purple one behind the radio" type of an answer would be great!!

Thanks for your help!!

I know this is an old post, but are you still needing this info? I don't know if the other sequoias are different, but the '05 is the black wire with a red stripe on the main 20-pin connector.
