GPS and Navigation AssistanceOEM Car, Aftermarket and handheld navigation discussions.
This is a discussion thread titled "Nav system part number", within the GPS and Navigation Assistance forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I am trying to locate the part number for 2004 Tundra DC JBL navigation system head unit and also the part number of the 2006 Solara JBL navigation system head unit. Can anyone direct me to the location of the part numbers or the numbers themselves if you have them handy?
I see what you mean Paul. As expected OEMValue.com was no help, their email response completely ignored my question.

The install of the Solara unit in a 2004 Tundra with JBL has been done many times. If you have any further questions please let me know.

Why is it that you need the part numbers as opposed to the model numbers?
Can't you just call your local Toyota dealer and ask for the part numbers? Surely they have them.

You would think so wouldn't you? I was in for more warranty work tuesday, and I decided to visit the parts dept. After the guy spent 20 minutes attempting to use the computer to look up the parts he gave me a price which I believe is wrong, but he couldn't give me the numbers since he couldn't actually figure out the right part. I don't really understand what's so difficult if your only looking up the Nav HU.
I didn't even attempt to ask about the other parts I was interested in.

Maybe I have it filed, but I did ask a dealer and the new Sienna unit E7007 w/MP3&Blutooth) listed for $3400 and could be had for $2700.
I'd gladly sell my Tundra NAV (about 1 month old), because I'd love to upgrade.
PM if interested...I'll make you a heck of a deal......
