Question Navigation DVD Version

Can anybody tell me what the latest version of the navigation DVD is for the 2005 Tundra? Where does one go to obtain an update DVD once they're released?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Peter

In January they came out with the 6.1
I found that out because my ice cream parlor that I opened up 3.5 years ago was not listed on the points of interest. I called toyota north america to find out who I should contact and why it was not on the DVD. As it turns out the new disc has it on. To bad i was 4 months shy of the new disc......

Thumbs up Re: Navigation DVD Version

Thanks for the replies. In fact Toyota released the most current disc in January 2005, v5.2. I ordered it from my local Toyota dealership ($275 + tax...ouch) and received it in about a week. You pop out the old disc, insert the new one, and the system automatically updates the system. You do have to reset your local "search" area and make a few other customizations, but otherwise it took all of about five minutes to be up and running.

Thanks again!

Peter

Hi People,

My 07 Camry came with version 06.1, and the service menu is no longer available. I'm hoping the access procedure has just changed, and I'm waiting for someone to post the new keystrokes.

The access to the engineering screens have been removed. Users will no longer be able to override the safety features or modify the regions.
