Default Is it possible to add a factory NAV to non-NAV hybrid camry (07 model)

In Canada, the Camry Hybrid is not available with the factory navigation. The NAV is available for all other models. The parts person at my dealership said that the wiring was different on the Camry Hybrid for the NAV which to me doesn't seem to make sense on the surface as the multi-function display on the guage cluster carries all the hybrid specific information and the factory radio (JBL Synthesis) seems to be just the normal factory radio.

My question is this: Is the NAV available as a part or accessory for the 07 Camry hybrid and if so, is it possible to order this from the US? My dealer is willing to do the install and in fact wants to do it but cannot locate the appropriate harness (if necassary) trim plate, and specific NAV unit (if different than the normal Camry).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The non-navigation vehicle is missing the appropriate cables which include speed pulse, back-up and brake inputs. Plus, you need the GPS antenna too.

Given all of this.... good luck since it will be extremely difficult to integrate it after the fact.

It can be done if you have the JBL upgraded radio with bluetooth. See camry, gen 6 forum on toyotanation website.

Yes, it can be done. I just added Nav to my Canadian TCH.

did you install the nav unit yourself or did you have the dealer install it?
