Question Kenwood/Denso Nav DVD Update?

Hello - I've got an aftermarket Kenwood navigation system using a DVD from 2002. A friend of mine recently got a Toyota Camry that came with a 2005 Denso DVD. Kenwood uses Denso data for their DVD's. Does anybody know if the DVD that came with the Camry will work in my aftermarket Kenwood nav system? I'd like to find out if it's dangerous before I actually try it.

Thanks
