This is a discussion thread titled "Need help installing an Eclipse AVN5495 in 06DC", within the GPS and Navigation Assistance forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Has anyone installed the eclipse nav unit in an 06 Tundra DC with the JBL system? I previously had it in my 00AC and it fit perfectly and Crutchfield had an adapter harness. In the 06 they say it won't fit and has no jumper harness. Some of you must have put these units into your Tundra/Seq already. How did you fill in the gap that is left around the slightly smaller head unit and how was the wiring?

These are the Toyota part numbers for the spacers you will need on either side of the NAV unit.
86221-52060
86221-52050
There is a right and a left side.

spacers as in to fill the gap's benzel on left to right correct?
about wiring I dont see any reason's to be alarmed on the 00 and 06 there were some changes yes but overall the dual Din would fit and yes the Jbl amp will need to be bypassed....

I see you have a Pioneer unit. Not sure if these parts will work, but its worth a try.
The bolt holes on the spacers match that of the Eclipse AVN units, but you still have to modify them to make it work. You have to file down the slight ridge on the side that fits against the NAV unit so that it will fit flush against it. You also have to cut away part of the rear of the spacer to fit around the Toyota mounting bracket that bolts to the side of the NAV unit.
When all done it looks pretty stock as you can see from my pics. Just wanted to let you know that it does require some custom fitting.

Thanks czechm8. I called my dealer to order them he says they are for a celica. Looked at the parts photo and your install and they look like they are the ones. This dealer wants $30 USD for both of them. Thanks for your help again... Guys like you save us members tons of frustration and experimenting/research. PS nice Sequoia!

Befor you hand over that much money to the boys in the parts dept. Search ebay for this it cost me $6.99 plus shipping 12.99 total for the same part.
