Default Ipaq Nav Problem

I have an Ipaq 2495 and am having trouble getting my Ipaq Navagation system to work with it. I previously had an Ipaq 3715 and the nav system worked perfectly with it. I installed everything as per instructions, this is what happens. I turn on the nav sys and wait a few minutes for it to aquire a signal. Then I turn the Ipaq on, start the bluetooth, connect to the nav sys, then start the nav program ck for sat signals, and punch in my destination or choose a favorite destination, it finds my location, and away I go. It marks my location on the map as I travel, and then freezes up within a few blocks. Sometimes the voice continues to speak, but the cursor stays still! I don’t have any other programs running at the time.
If I shut the program off and switch to mapopolis the cursor travels along the map as I move.
Is there an upgrade for the nav program? Or what. Please help as I am getting lost a lot.
Thank You.
Bruce
