I didn't have the JBL installed from the factory so I bought a used amp from a camry and a nav system from oemvalue. I hooked it up and it works great!! The problem I have is that I can find a good place to mount the amp. Has anyone else used this setup? If so where did you install the amp? Thanks!

2006 Tundra DC SR5 TRD 4x4. Pretty much stock besides the Extang Trifecta Tonneau, Hellwig sway bar, shorter antenna, & Kel-Tec in the console.

In my Sequoia the JBL amp is mounted about a foot below the HU right on the transmission hump behind my lower switch panel part of the dash right in the middle. If the Tundra has that same panel in the middle with 4 switches (or more likely empty knockouts for switches), pull it open and you will see the existing amp. I guess I am assuming that you are replacing the current amp with the new one. If you want it in addition to the existing one, I'd just get creative and attach it somewhere back in there. There's enough room I think.
jarichar, I am also interested in your situation with a non JBL system in an 06 Tundra SR5 DC. Did the Nav system come with instructions for install? Will it work with a non-JBL system? I want that rear camera!
