Default AVIC-Z1 mod,= no disclaimer + unlocked

oh I'm so happy finally got the amp working with the sub from the Z1 today and grounded a couple wires to get past the disclaimer and unlock dvd, adress search, POI search. Surprised how easy it was, all on AVIC411.com - Home and no relay switch or light flashing with my july model. Now I just need to work on the fake face plate. I really like the one I saw on here, probably copy that one somewhat. Now if I could get rid of the popping noise when I turn off the truck coming from my sub. I'll let my buddy check that out cause it's not my specialty. Anyways winters coming so get ready for some 4x4 action baby!

PS: If you were slipping down a steep mountain rode and you started sliding or couldent stop can you put a Tundra in reverse......My buddy did this in his audi quatro but is a tundra capable of that or is that to do with a audi's AWD???

Why would you want to put your truck in reverse? What good would that do?

that is the most assinine statement I have ever heard....if you lost traction then tried running in reverse while moving forward it would make things worse and or cause the vehicle to go into a spin....BTW it would probably rip the tranny to peices so definately dont try this one at home kids!!!!

hahaha lol, I just wanted to listen to you guys spaz about the reverse thing. I know damn well that would probably kill yourself or your truck or both in a Tunny. I did here about someone who did this in an audi quotro though while he was slipping down a mountain and it helped him, but he's an old race car driver and doesen't recomend trying it, pretty honest person too.

LOL...this is a funny thread. New here! When I was growing up my parents gave me their old Dodge Aspen...to impress the girls I used to slip that puppy in Neutral, floor the gas pedal and slam it in drive.....just to get a little chirp out of the tires. It's amazing that thing last for 3 years with me before I could afford something a little more cooler. Now, if I saw someone doing that, now knowing NOW how much damage that could cause.....
