Default Back Up Camera BEC106

This camera is supposedly the new 2007 model. I have it on order for just under $200 w/ shipping. Its going to be installed into the E7009 navi w/ bluetooth and 4 cd changer, but I was wondering if it will be plug and play like the BEC105 camera. All the specs seem to be the same and I was just hoping for some improved technology, and I couldn't beat the price. Any kind of feedback would be awesome. Thanks,

David

Well, for starters the plug that the BEC106 uses will not mate up with the E70009 nav. The previous years the camera would plug right into the back of the unit, but now you must de-pin that connector and pin it according to the new connector that the #E7009 uses. On the bright side, the 4 wires are the same 4 wires that are used on both gen navs, just different connector.

Will the BEC106 work with the E7006 in a Sequoia? Do you know if the E7006 unit will support the FEC106 (Front end camera)?
