Default Terk XMD100 XM antenna w/ Kenwood receiver

Hi,

I ordered the new Kenwood DNX7100 and looking for a different antenna to use with the receiver instead of GXM 30 antenna. The GXM 30 is just too big. I have a couple of questions using the Terk XMD100 + adapter for Kenwood with either the DDX7019 or DNX7100.
1. Does the Terk give you access to Navtriaffic on the receiver?
2. Does it have full functionality on the OSD? Thanks in advance.

Here's the link to the adapter.

I have this unit hooked up to a 7019 and it will not give you nav traffic. All it does is the XM programming.
