Default VSS and the E7001 Solara nav in 04 DC???
Hey guys I'm hoping someone out there has come across this issue and can lend some knowledge...

I connected the VSS wire from behind the "Combination Meter" (Green/Orange stripe) and confirmed I had continuity from connector-to-connector. The problem is the nav unit still doesn't show a signal, no "pulse's" and thus no speed reading in the diagnostic menu.

Has anyone run across this problem or have any suggestions? I've worn out the "search" button looking before I asked....

Problem solved.... I went into the diagnostic menu and cleared all the codes and now everything works!
