Default avn5435 can't reroute

HI,
I have avn5435, somehow, the system can't reroute when I miss turn. anybody know why? or what should I do so it can reroute when I lost or miss the turn. I did go to the system and turn on the reroute function.
please help...

you should check your setting to see if reroute is set to on as your first stop.

You most likely do not have speed pulse connected. An easy way to tell is if the icon in the middle of the screen is jumping everying three seconds while on the freeway or highway.
