My dang window latch broke while driving home this morning. I did a search for the previous post and it seems like the fella is no longer making the latches. Anyone know if this is true? If so, any other ideas on replacing this latch?

If you don't try, nothing happens
I believe it's "Trftoy" (I hope that's the right name) who had some made awhile back. He sold them out and the last I heard he may or may not get some more made. I'm slightly irked that I sent him $44 and haven't heard back since then. $44 won't break me, but I'd like to know.
my latches have broke as well...it would be nice to get some new ones...(cheap new ones!!)

I beleive that he (Trftoy) is trying to get some more made. He stated that it may be a while and if you can send the funds first, that would help. When I got mine the price was for the pair, but it was well worth it.

I made contact with him some weeks ago. He is no longer going to make them... says there is no money in the endeavor.
Darn! I would have bought them to replace mine even before they break! No chance at all that he'd have another set made? That's too bad.
Of course there is no money in it! I sold these for COST. I haven't profited a single penny (actually cost me).
I need 50 members to front the money, $44 shipped, in order to make more. So if someone wants to help round up 50 members I can get the ball rolling again.
As for temetom, did you send money via paypal? Or check? Everyone who sent me money received their latches. Maybe you sent wrong address info. People are fast to point blame..... Now if it were the case that I "forgot" to send your I will take the ones off my truck and send them to you.
So now, who wants latches?

The ones I got from Trftoy were real nice. But if you care, another member made his own from some aluminum stock, grinded them down to shape and drilled the holes. Won't be as professional as Trftoy's, but it would work.
