Folks - FYI there is slight misconception created by Tundradrenalin's post on 3/27.

3/31 was a the date set between trfytoy and us to determine if there was enough members in on this GB to move to the next step - Produce the latches. Not the set SHIP DATE.

I have spoken to trfytoy and the latches are being machined/produce. He will followup on this thread with updates on the manufacture of the latches and shipping.

According to your last post, the latches will be shipped Tuesday. So this Tuesday (04/15) they will be shipped? No more issues? Please confirm when you can because I need to decide if I should request a refund or not. Thanks.

So those of us who paid $44 will still be getting the difference refunded right? I saw in an earlier post that we would be, but I was wondering when that refund might take place? Heck, I'm not that impatient to get the parts... it's still too cold here to install them anyway. I'm just trying to keep updated. Thanks!

"Cross your fingers?" This is rediculous. I don't understand why you would even try to start a group buy, unless you were sure that you could produce the goods in a timely and appropriate fashion. I'm jumping off of this trainwreck. I'll send you a PM as an official refund request Josh. Thanks for your effort anyway.

Josh went to all this trouble for the first run, and out of the kindness of his heart, he's willling to put more time in for us forum members to get a quality mod done on our vehicles, the least we could do show a respectable level of interest - and some patience!!!

I was in on the 1st GB that TRFTOY put together and there were issues with that buy too. But HE CAME THROUGH and the product was awesome!
I think we ought to cut TRFTOY some slack for the following reaons:

• BGs are a PITA. They are hard to put together and take a lot of time and effort.
• We have all dealt with these "specialty shops" in one form or another. Chances are that TRFTOY has been working with one of these prima Donna shop owners that promise the moon, and take forever to finish the work.
• TRFTOY has been responding to questions quickly, he refunds money no questions asked, and franly it seems like the guy is doing a thankless job and getting slammed for it.

Anyway, I think we ought to lay off the guy and let him concentrate on getting the parts made and distributed. Just my 2 cents.
