Greg,
you and I have very similar set ups. My past experience is that a tuner maximized the benefits of the mods we have. When I dynoed mine it was very rich. That alone prevents us from getting the most of the headers, cai and exhaust.

Tony,
I can agree with that..I assume you are in on the GP? If so are you dyno'ing before and after the chip install? I would love to see a no kidding dyno before and after before I buy.

I plan to take it to a Unichip tuner and tweak it for my truck. I should have a base dyno, a PNP Unichip dyno and then a tweaked Unichip final.

Since this thing comes with a wire harness adapter, you can remove it in less than 5 minutes to go back to stock for the dynooo run. Then reattach it for a chipped run. Five plugs out, five plugs in. Easy as pie.

Anyone wanting to get in on this group buy, PM ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS! That's it. You don't have to contact Unichip directly. That may just delay your name being added to the list. The cutoff date for joining is tomorrow. So, for those waiting on dynos, additional feedback, whatever, you will miss this boat if you don't join by the 15th. The chips will most likely begin shipping by next week if 50 deposits are paid by then. As far as shipping order, it will be a bulk shipment meaning everyone's tuner will be sent out at the same time. So, most likely those closest to Unichip will receive theirs first. I believe they have enough harnesses to supply everyone in our group buy. If not, it would go in order of deposits paid. The whole "first 50" thing is kind of out of the window because I still have not received email addresses from some members of the first 50. Those who have been on the ball will get theirs first. Thanks.

Nola,
I appreciate all the info and the work you have put into this..I have done GB's before and know what a pain they are...I am going to wait for a while and see how people like their chips as well as how other companies fare before making a decision....I look forward to seeing yours as well as others results.

Some of the emails that I sent to Mike didn't go through, so I sent him a word document with everyone's email addresses to date. He'll go through the list and contact everyone who he hasn't contacted yet. Thanks for being patient.

Yes, it has been a lot of work putting this together. "Some" people think that I'm making money off of my involvement. I wish that were true.
