i don't drag and have no intentions of doing so, but i usually open them up to "6" on the freeways. every now and again i'll open them up on city streets just to jack with others in their rice burners...
I was under the impression that it could be mapped for "OPEN" or "CLOSED" setting using the FLUX. I plan on doing the same street terrorizing once installed. No drags planned but that could change.

Don't worry, this deal WILL go through. We only have a handful of deposits left to be collected, and Mike is willing to extend the deadline until that happens. These guys are very easy to work with and they want us to get them at this great price.

With the Flux, you can choose from 5 custom maps. I believe it comes with a regular gas map and premium gas map based on your mods, or as close to your mods as possible. With cutouts and different intake setups, I would have it custom tuned with a map for open cutouts and one for closed. At least with Flux, you can clear your own error codes if they do pop up. You may just have to run with them closed until its tuned.

I set up an appt with the local Unichip tuner and they said "no problem". Open, Closed, Premium, Regular and UNLEASH THE HOUNDS map settings. The QTP cut outs have a new control module for different settings as well. After researching most of the electric cutouts and listening to them and seeing the different installs. QTP is by far the best choice. Design, manufacturing processes, material and craftsmenship. (this is not a paid endoresment) I'm an engineer by trade for what it's worth trained in the Toyota Production System. (TPS). Cant wait for the goodies to arrive.

Haha, I know man. The good news is we are at 46 confirmed! I have two people thinking about it. We just need a few other guys to make up their minds. I'm hoping to hit our mark by this weekend.

How much were the cut-outs and how much to install? I'm still undecided on the exhaust. I would like to keep the quiet stock muffler with a low octane map and go wide open wake the dead exhaust with a premium gas performance map.

The poll results indicated that 51 were planning on particpating in the group buy and I would assume you had a few extras like myself that were added to the list. I am guessing a few people backed out or had second thoughts? It would be nice to get to 50...getting a little anxious to unleash the beast!!!

Rut, it was most likely people just wandering in the Group Buy and saying "That'd be cool, I'm in (if it were free)", that sort of thing. Not everyone fully grasps the BUY part of the Group Buy process.

I'm confident this one will turn out good though. We're still within schedule. The units weren't going to be ready until late July or early August anyways.

Exactly what Tundradrenalin said. When it comes to dropping the cash, many people back out. Its understandable because priorities can change quickly. I just sent two more email addresses to Mike. That gets us to at least 48 if they pay the deposit. I'm assuming everyone who has been contacting me lately is serious and ready to pay the deposit. I'm sure at least two more will join soon. The units will ship at the end of the month, so we still have more than enough time to hit our mark. After we hit the mark though, the GB could close. That's up to Mike.

I'll leave you on the list for now. If you get the deposit to mike before he closes the GB, then your good. Again, not sure when that will happen. I'm still waiting on dyno charts. The numbers released so far are the numbers they were seeing in testing. They are also working on numerous other vehicles, so I just have to be patient and keep reminding them to get the dyno info to us. Their donor Tundra used for testing had to be returned, so they had to get another one to set up for dyno runs.

AllSouth Autosports is doing the install for $515 Dual 2.50" Cutouts w/toggle switch.

ANNUAL SHOW
Allsouth is having a car show Aug 2. All monies go to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. I will post this on the Southeast forum.

https://shop.quicktimeperformance.co...ct_detail&p=29

Here is the site. I think Im going to pass on their controller and stick with the toggle switch. I'm going to mount the switch next to the tow/haul button.

Do we have a timeframe on this unit? I feel very, very dumb for paying a deposit without being told a timeframe.

I thought we had already establised a timeframe. The units will ship at the end of this month if the GB hits 50 deposits. We are only two confirmed deposits away from that mark and I'm still getting pm's with new people wanting to join. So, we will definitely hit our mark before the harnesses are ready. They have the tuners and will be programming them for your mods. They are only waiting on harnesses, which should be in soon. If you had not put down your deposit early, then we would be one more person shy of our mark, so thanks to you and everyone else we'll get them on time!
