This Group Buy thread is to follow up the threads we posted on Sienna, Highlander, Tundra and Sequoia forum on the Navigation/Video Override Module. Here is more information regarding this device.

Features
This module is an OEM enhancement designed to enable all the navigation lockouts which you are all experienced with the factory navigation system. This includes entering address, POI, Bluetooth features, phone book, phone pad and browsing music folders and play list from a MP3 disc, etc. Therefore, all the features that are available while your vehicle is in Park position will become available in motion when the override is activated.

Another feature built in to this override module is enabling the video for the passengers. If your vehicle is equipped with rear entertainment system, the video override feature will unlock the video on the navigation screen while the vehicle is in motion. If your vehicle is not equipped with factory RES, the override module is compatible with some 3rd party video inputs. Please contact us if you have further questions on the 3rd party components which we have experienced with.

Module
This module is a 100% plug and play and absolutely no wire cutting. The device itself is elegantly designed and in compact size (2 ¼” x 2”x ¾”). This allows our client to easily place the device behind the navigation system. The module is a passive and noninvasive device and simply works as a “bridge” connect to your factory navigation system. The module is controlled by a small switch base. There are two tiny buttons to activate/deactivate the navigation or video override. Without activating the override features, your navigation system will be in the factory setting.

The two override features are independent; this means your passenger can view video while the navigation system is providing route guidance to the driver. A common question is while the navigation override is in placed, the map interface will temporarily suspend your vehicle movement. This however, is not a big concern since the purpose of the override is to enable the accessibility to other navigation interface. Once the override is deactivated and the GPS signal is re-established, the navigation map interface will recalibrate your current position.

Installation
The installation instructions will be provided only to the client who purchases the override module. The instructions will provide comprehensive guidance on how to remove each interior panel. Also, it will include pictures to better facilitate the installation process.

but check your state,
if you have a dvd or nav running where you do not have the E brake on,
this in at least florida is against the law.
