hi, if any of you 2005 & 2006 owner's that have a 4.7 VVTI V8 have a:
volant cai,
jba headers,
and cat back magnaflow exhaust.
i can help you, if you choose to recieve the help,
get a tuned unichip when you do your group buy.
when you call in your order, i have very important info.
especially if you live in the southeast.
i know what you need to have programmed into your unichip.
this way ,you will not need a custom tune, it will be done at unichip for you.

now this has nothing to do with the group buy! so i hope i don't violate any rule's, that i was reading.
it only effect's a very small if any amount of 05 & 06 tundra owner's with these mod's, that live in the southeast.
again i'm trying to save you a custom tune.

i hope this help's the group buy get more people.
as many of you know i had a custom tune, so i know what #'s will help if you have these mod's.
the saving of a custom tune, can exceed 350+.
my unichip now has 264rwhp & 296 rear foot pounds of torque.
although every tundra ,even the same year's will have a different HP & torque.
it is possible that by having unichip after the group buy is over, and you call them, i can give you the info that may help.
or
just get the cookie cutter, and you will be just fine.
unichip has been a awesome product for me.
i highly recommend it.
good luck in your group buy.

i'm sure there are 2000 owner's that have had a custom tune, that could help, as well as other's.
UNICHIP custom tune owner's can lend a hand to new unichip owner's, if you know what #'s needed to be changed due to your state, this can help aviod for BROTHER member's the extra cost of a custom tune.
like i said i can help 2005 & 2006 V8 VVTI 4.7L southeast owner's ONLY!

I am interested in the group buy as well. I need to do a little research to see if the unichip will help with my loss of power while towing. I know that for the domestics, chip mods help to improve towing, but haven't done my homework yet for the 1st Gen Tundra. Thanks for getting the group buy going.

hi, i would say that a increase in not only HP but torque would only help you tow.
how could it not.
read my post if you haven't yet.
you have a 05 same year, unless you have the V6. than i'm not to sure, what your results would be.
i don't have a V6. ;-)

Thanks Gorilla. I did read your post, great information. I have the 4.7 V8 as well. The only mod I have done so far is to install a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust. I have been eyeballing the Volant for a while. Still not sure which headers to go with. I think getting in on the group buy might be premature do to my lack of mods. I guess I could get it setup for the mods I plan on doing and just not install it until then...

Anyone else thinking about joining the group buy? It's a good savings, trust me I've been checking around. I hope that we can get some more support. I hate paying full price when you don't have to.
