Default Skid Row Skidplate Group Buy - Sign Up Here

If you are very serious about getting in on a group buy for the Skid Row Skidplates for your Tundra, please post here. I am waiting to hear back from them and will post the details when I do. Right now I am aiming to get the same discount given to members in the past which is 10% off. The retail price for these skidplates is $150. We hopefully will be getting them for $135 or better. Remember, this price does not include shipping. They offer a Front, Transmission, and Transfer Case Skidplate. If you are not familiar with their products look at www.skidplates.com. Many members have them and are nothing but satisfied. Minimum number of orders needed last time for the discount was 20. Lets aim for at least that if not more. Because of recent issues with group buys, please do not commit or post your interest unless you are serious. If you need to take some time to think about it then please do. I will let everyone know when the group buy will start and end. In the meantime, take the poll above. I will keep everyone updated with info as I receive it.

Thanks,

Clay

I'm interested NOW. I'm sure by the time it actually happens, I'll be ready to commit. No problem. Thanks.

Thumbs up Let's roll

I'm in for the front skid plate...simply for the fact it will make changing the oil alot easier. I might be able to talk dad into one for his truck too...but I'll get back to you on that one.

You already have all three? If not, get in on it and get the transmission or transfer case skid, worth it if you're getting the group deal.

I got in touch with the owner of Skid Row this morning and talked about the buy. He is going to talk it over and give me an answer in the next day or so. Their standpoint is that they don't really like to do group buys because it is not welcomed by their dealers. But he did understand why we wanted one and also told me they may do it again simply because none of their dealers carry the Tundra line. As of right now the only place to buy the Tundra skidplates is directly from them. I hope to get a definite answer in the next day or so and will post as soon as I do. Thanks for all of the interest so far and keep those votes coming.

Hi all,

I have read through the previous group buy and to be honest the savings of 15.00 is just not worth the wait. I for one want the front one for sure. Unless we can put together a reasonably quick group buy, I may just email in an order.

mike

Ps lets see how many we can muster in the next few weeks.

I agree with your point and don't plan on having one of those big drawn out group buys. If it can't be completed in the next couple of weeks then I say we don't do it. There is no need to wait a month or more for a group buy. That much time just allows people to drag their feet.

Count me in for a front plate. (I responded to the other thread also, so this may be a dupe)

Someone made a good point that I hadn't brought up. For those of you who haven't read about this skidplate, it does allow you to change your oil without having to remove it. The way it is shaped and cut gives you unobstructed access to your oil filter and drain plug. If you change your own oil like I do, this Skidplate will be a welcome accessory when the time comes for the next change.
