Default S & S headers group buy

Who is interested?

S & S will offer Club members a discount of $100 for the header kit. The price will be $799 for Club Members only. If you are thinking about this one and you are not a club member become one. The $24 for a membership is well worth the $100 in savings for these headers.

If you vote you need to post as well.

I need to see how many are club members and registered members.

THIS IS FOR THE COATED SETS ONLY

I will start another one for stainless if in the original S & S thread there are enough posts to warrant a pole for stainless sets. S & S will only do a stainless run if there are 20+ sets at one time.

The group buy will need a minimum of 20 coated sets.

Rgerdes may have 12 so hopefully we only need 8 more to make the 20.

Dont forget to post.

This is a group buy for the coated mild steel only.

I will have to set up a different poll for the stainless.

post in the other S & S thread if you want stainless. For stainless we will need 20+ sets at once.

Sorry for the stir. My membership elapsed and I was not notified. Discovered it when I couldn't get in to the garage so I have to renew. But the sets I'm trying to sell aren't going to members so I guess we're out.

Since I have not been keeping up with the "potential new header maker" thread, and don't really feel like devoting 8 hours to read the whole thread...can someone summarize the important info from that thread or maybe link to the important posts in there?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that is in this situation...

Rgerdes,

Pay the $24 for the club membership and you're in. You do it by paypal and it takes less than 24 hours.

Gimmie!

That is to say, I do want in on the group buy.

Hopefully this one won't go down like the underdrive pulley and JBA header buys did. By that, I mean hopefully no one who doesn't seriously plan on buying them will say yes to it.

It really bites when you think there are more than enough people, then you turn around and almost end up getting screwed because people who were on the fence opted in and then changed their minds.

So please, if you aren't willing to commit yourself to actually shelling out 800 bones in a month or so, don't say yes.

Hover, you're not the only one in that situation, but I can assure you, it doesn't take eight hours to get caught up on the thread. I'm saying five and a half, six tops.

Hover,

Why don't you ask some questions that you would like to know and I will answer them in this thread.

The quick of it is:

S & S has designed a long tube tuned header set with new cats and ypipe. they are ceramic coated inside and out. they are 1 5/8" primaries with 2.5" collector and ypipe. The cats are also 2.5" inlet/outlet. The system will bolt up to the stock muffler. It is also setup for an easy transition to an aftermarke cat-back system as well. The system is completely bolt on. No cutting or welding.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. DO NOT SAY YES IF YOU EVEN THINK YOU CAN'T COME UP WITH THE CASH!!!
