Default S&S Headers Group Buy Ordering

Alright here's the skinny.....

You need to have your orders in by December 28, 2003 to be in on the first run.

At this time there are about 3 -5 sets left for the first run. This price may only be available for this group buy.

Remember that the price was agreed before we knew about having to provide a wiring kit for the O2 sensors so the next price for the next group buy could be more than it is now.

To order you will go directly to the S&S order page, there you will place your order and you will pay S&S directly. As I have said before I am not involved with the sale, money taking, order taking, shipping or handling of the product. I can check the status of orders and will be the one to inform S&S of you member status, that is all. Don't forget that you too can check the status of your order and can contact S&S at any time you desire to speak with them via phone or email.

Here are the ordering directions for those that need them.

When placing your order for the headers, you will order direct from S & S' website. You will go to the site ORDER PAGE and add to shopping basket. You will then be taken to your shopping basket page. From there click on "To check out Click Here".

You then get to "Checkout". Here you will click on "If this is you first time ordering from our on-line store click here..."

Here is the important stuff.

You fill out your information for billing and shipping and how you are going to pay. They do take checks if needed but they will not send the kit until the check is received and cleared.

At the bottom of the page there is a Comments section, here you will write:

T/S Group buy price $799.00 + Shipping.

Then write your user name here on T/S, ie: Imdone.

S & S will let me know of the usernames so I can verify that these are club/Platinum club member orders.

Remember no registered members can order at this price.

If you have questions please post here.

Thank you.

For those that have already placed orders, I will be getting an email from S&S tomorrow of the list of the orders that will be going out first. Please check your PMs as this will be the way I notify you when your order will be shipped.

No problem guys, I like dealing with the other T/S members...

My set is doing great and I got the chance to speak with Rgerdes before he shot off to Dallas, TX earlier this week. We will be getting together to do his Gtech here pretty soon when our schedules can meet.

Rgerdes said his are doing very well. Other than melting the shifing cable his are awesome. On his last run at the track he hit the speed limiter at 105mph before he cleared 1/4mile. That is pretty damn fast for this truck. He is looking into removing it to get some real track times with the drag tires.

An aftermarket muffler will really provide some more breathing room, Rgerdes has the TRD muffler and he said it not only sound awesome but really runs nicely.

I have a Walker muffler that I have been in the works to try and get put on but have not had the time. I will post once I get it on and have seen the difference.

ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ORDERED PLEASE SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS

SO I CAN SEND YOU UPDATES ON YOUR ORDERS!

My email is kubdrago@cox.net, I will send you the shipping update email that S&S is sending to me. They are giving me the list of the orders and I will forward to all. Thanks.

Yes, but remember the speed limiter is based on the stock tire size. If the drag tires are a lot smaller in diameter, then the truck isn't going nearly that fast. For example, if the drag tires are around 26 inches, then he might have been hitting the limiter at about 90 MPH.

Yeah good point, I think it was like 97 mph or something. He was early, it was in his post of his times, I can't recall it for sure, but this is totally true, I didn't think about this when I posted it.

But the speed limiter hit before he crossed the finish and his time was really close to the stock tires time. He may be able to get that time down a little by removing the speed limiter still.

yea he trapped 91 mph i think with the fuel cut that came in i think he was 14.6 @ 91 with some tire(ETstreets or equivalent) he may not have to worry about the governor. i think the DRs were 245/60/16, but dont quote me on that...

Exclamation First time ordering from S&S

Keep trying!

That is what I wish to say to those members who are still thinking of ordering before the 28-Dec group buy first-run deadline. Just over 24 more hours to order your set.

You can get past the on-line ordering web page failures, while ordering the headers from S&S. This is something worth noting to others. I was a first time customer of S&S headers just yesterday. I hit a few web pages during my on-line order that indicated failure to connect with host, or something like that. It was in the middle of the order process, which took about 5 screens of fill-in-the-blank stuff. Probably related to establishing a username and password, then continuing with the order.

I finally was able to get past it all. I logged back in and had to clear my cart to zero, then re-add the item (HEADERS) to the cart. It went well after that. My order is in place. Now to wait for this late Xmas gift to the truck.
