Jack has extended the Group Buy 1 week. In light of the Sequoia issue coming in late, and tuners list people are working out. We now have to 1 week from Friday to close.

This should not push the ship date back, only extend the group buy.

Looking at the numbers...we may have a possible shot at 30 and another 5% off!

Glad to see you're in. Now try to get some of your Sequoia buddies in. I think the Sequoia guys will get us past 30...then everyone makes out like a bandit.

The Sequoia needs the extra power more than the tundra , you would think those guys would be all over this extra power upgrade -cant get much better than plug it in and play! plus we already have the 10% discount and like you said we could reach 30

I have two questions:

1) I want to confirm that we have until the 26th of this month to get in on the group buy.

2) Will the Unichip application work on the Double Cab Tundras since the engines are the same?

Default Question: Interchanging Tundra to Sequoia

My quandray is that I have an "02 Sequoia and an '03 Tundra. No mods except the Tundra has the TRD exhaust. My question: will I be able to swap the chip from one to the other without problems (remapping)? I forsee that I would prefer to have it on the Tundra but for long roadtrips pulling our double jetski's, I would like to have it on the Sequoia. I'm here to tell ya that there is quite a bit of difference in these 2 based on just the TRD exhaust on the Tundra.

I'm wondering if having it mapped for the TRD's (Tundra) would make a difference if/when I swapped it over to the Sequoia?

Don't even suggest buying 2 I would be fortunate to buy <one>.

The problem you have is the years. The wiring harness changes from 02 to 03. Damn!!! And Jack has looked up the specs for Sequoia and said subsequent years to models are the same for Tundra to Sequoia...and 03 the harness changes.

Sorry
Kevin

Hmm. Guess I was hoping for the best of both worlds; which would have been an ideal purchase for my situation. I'll still consider it, now that it has been extended for another week. Hopefully the G/B will reach 30 and the extra savings could be a deal clincher for me?

Thanks for the quick response Kevin.

There would be alot of extra expence making just one of these...and I'm not sure of the possibility of it even working. Plus the added hassle of crawling under dash to hook and unhook, and switch over from a map to b map...I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this...But if you like you could try to email Jack on it.

Kevin

Thanks Kevin, but I pretty much know the answer from reading the posts. Looks like I won't be able to swap them and as mentioned in the earlier post, having 2 pigtails would be costly. I wouldn't have mind the 30 min job to swap every so often if they would have been interchangeable.

I'm going to hold off for now and consider it for the extended week. Thanks for everyone's input.
