Question im in and wondering .......

we will pay no tax , correct?
we will get notice of the date the units will be shipped when they are ready?
how will the free retune be cordinated with the tuners and jack?
does the free retune come in writing ?
do we get a discount/set rate on the first tune at all?
from a suggested/recomended tuner, i have been quoted a price for the install/tuning of a unprog. Unichip which was much higher than what has been discussed, so will jack get us a set rate on at least the install and/or first 1 hr. of tuning? can you discuss these issues with jack - ???
from what i've been told by the tuners dealing with the s/c unprogramed application some additional equipment must/should be purchased and installed befror the tune/dyno. And the engine should be in excellent running condition -new plugs if needed/filter/ect. just passing on info. s/c guys.

I owned a Tacoma that wasn't nearly as fun to tinker with!...of course I didn't have all these cool ideas to work with either.

We have 7 deposits...and 7 votes...looking good!

Default I'm in...

I just sent my deposit. I went with the pre-mapped unichip even though I have JBA headers, TRD duals, and a TRD drop in. From what I read the test 2003 Tundra is going with a RAPS kit and spintech muffler next. I just as soon not have the tuning for a RAPS and spintech loaded into my vehicle, and I don't see my exact setup being mapped by ship time. If I need to I'll have it custom tuned later.

On the flip side, I kind of like how the group buy is set up. Only the people who are 100% committed will put down the deposit, so we truely have an accurate picture of how things are going. Also, by the time I have to pay for the rest of the unichip, I will have forgotten about the $100 deposit. So it's really like getting the unichip for $650, Right?! It's like the rule on dating, "if you cant remember, then it never really happened."

Good deal guys, we're half way there for the 10% Group Buy discount. Zebra, I like your logic! It always worked well for me in college!

Hey PD, I haven't seen an updated list. If there was one, Verndog would have it on his Unichip page:

http://www.ppdbillet.com/Unichip-1.html

Your only other option is to get a pre-mapped chip like many of us are getting...

Seee-ya,

Jim.
