I'd join in on the group buy, but I had to get mine on before unichip comes in. ..so I just got my set today. I must say, the set I recieved is excellent workmanship. I'm going in to work tomarrow to check the flanges for flattness and grind in if they're out at all. For the price, and performance...I don't see how you can go wrong with this deal
Erik: Don't take this the wrong way, but aren't these prices the same as you initially posted? Was this a mistake? Either way, this is a great price for the product. Now if only they will bolt up to the DC, I'm in!
I'll chime in here...I saw the original pricing, and they were $190. for 10 and under. He has taken them to $175.00 and with shipping that is less then I payed for them on ebay (cost plus shipping)...and I had to wait and play the game to boot!

Sorry for the delay in reply, I took a little vacation this past weekend...to answer your question, yes, a Y-pipe will be included! I spoke to the guys at SS Autochrome and they said, "sure, why not." So let's get some interest going folks, the poll ends soon and I don't think the deal is going to get much sweeter than this! Again, feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!
I am interested in this group buy buy I wanted to let you know a few issues I had with these guys on my intake pipe. Say what you will about that mod but I wanted to try it. It did not fit as described nor did it have the appropriate tubes/hoses for my 03. I made it work with lots of fighting and brought up these issues and they were cold and apathetic with their response. They told me to get what I needed locally. this is just FYI. I still want the headers. Thanks for your time. todd
Yeah... I was thinking about trying their intake, but I just said "forget about it" because people have been complaining way too much. Rest assured, the headers are a completely different story. Nearly everybody likes these headers and think that they are a great deal... now more than ever since the dyno reports were posted.

i agree - i'll tell you that it takes work to properly tighten down every nut and then warm the engine and retighten the nuts -maybe his guys didnt do this properly.
anyways these headers are great and i had mine Jet-Hot coated which i could never afford to do with the other expensive headers - so i have extra heat/anitrust insurance now. Use the factory nuts/studs and buy oem gaskets if you want no worries about possible exhaust leaks down the road.
supplied gaskets are ok but if they ever see blowby there all done in an instant -the oem metal crush gaskets can not be wasted by heat from blowby. just my opinion -many have used supplied gaskets and bolts with no problems - i just wanted all the extra insurance i could get on a new truck.
I would recomend these headers to everyone -very noticable increase in pull from midrange all the way up -
at a great price.
didnt hurt my low end at all ( i think it helped low end some )
Only thing i can stress is going back after the install and retighten all nuts on the headers-do this once after engine warms up then once a week untill they stay tight you will never have to touch them again so dont be lazy and enjoy the fruits extra power !
Well it looks like we hit (and surpassed) the 10 person Yay-Sayer mark... when does the group buy begin?!
I think I should remind everybody (since the original post needs some slight modification)...
For 165.00 (SHIPPED) TS Members get a set of SSAutoChrome (Stone Mountain Racing) Headers WITH a Y-Pipe.
This is just such an awesome deal I had to repeat it...
On a side note... how much does it usually cost to have headers ceramic coated? And how much does it usually cost to get rid of the resonator (or third cat) and run straight piping back to the muffler?

That's correct! We did hit/surpass our mark! Group buy will begin just as soon as I get the approval from NHParrot (group buy moderator). Here are the basics:
Once the group buy begins, all participants will need to contact me via email. I will then send a standardized reply with payment instructions. Each participant will be given a confirmation number which will be used to complete each individual transaction at the end of the group buy. The group buy will run for 7 days (per TS regulations). Once the group buy has ended, participants will have 3 calender days to make their final payments, or lose their deposits. Each set of headers will be sent out upon completion of each individual transaction (i.e., no waiting for the slow guy to pay up!) I'll clarify all the details in a new post as soon as I'm given the go-ahead. Thanks again for the support and tell all of your fellow Tundra folk about this great deal...remember, if we hit 30 or more, there's an even bigger discount! Again, feel free to email me with questions. Thanks!
I can't wait to pull the tirgger on this deal. With any luck I will be able to get these installed along with a new exhaust before the Spring Truck Nationals at New England Dragway.
I have been sitting on the exhaust (I have all the parts) waiting until I got some headers so I could do it all at the same time.
