This is a discussion thread titled "COMPLETED GROUP BUY: SS Autochrome Group Buy!!", within the Group Buys forum, part of the Marketplace Forums category.
Well folks, here it is, the real deal! For those of you who voted in favor of the group buy, thank you. Now, here are the guidelines:
First step; All participants are to email me directly at REV29k@aol.com. The guys over at SS Autochrome have their hands full already so rather than dealing with each of you individually, they've asked me to moderate the group buy to make sure everyone's transactions go over smoothly. With that said, again, feel free to contact me at any time during the group buy with your questions/concerns. I check my email about 3 times a day, so I'll get back with everyone as soon as I can.
Moving on; once I've received your email, I'll send you a standardized reply with instructions on how to make payment. I will include, however, an individual confirmation number that will be used in various parts of the transaction, so keep up with it! The deposit amount is set at $50 and is non-refundable. This secures your order, (1 set of headers and 1 Y-Pipe), and your price (non-member/member) of $175 and $165 respectively. Upon completion of the group buy (group buy will close on Fri. April 2nd), everyone will have 3 calendar days to make their final payments to SS Autochrome, or lose their deposits. There is no need to email me at the end of the group buy regarding payment, however, if you have any discrepancies, I'll be happy to help.
In addition, if all participants will chime in with a post in this thread, this will help keep the general consensus up to date with the group buy progress...why does this matter you ask? Because remember, if we hit that magical number of 30, everyone gets an additional $10 off! So tell your all of your 4.7 liter compadres to jump in on this deal! Now, let's start up that 'ol Christmassy feeling and get the ball rolling!
Could you please find out about shipping to Hawaii. UPS or Fed-Ex 2-day are the only way to ship to the islands. I would like some idea of what shipping would run for me - if it makes any sense, I would be in as well.

I'd need your zip code to give you exact shipping cost, but a guestimated quote from the UPS website is around $95.
Hey guys...just wanted to show you what you can do with these. This set I had Chomex-Ceramic coated. It is good to 1400 degs, will not blue or turn straw color like stainless untreated will. But the main advantage is heat retension and corrosion resistance. The excellent heat retension will help keep underhood temps down, and improve scavaging effects of your exhaust system to improve flow (plating cost more then headers $190.00...but worth the cost IMO).

Is the shipping included in the cost for the continental US?
That was the deal... and it better not have been changed

Sent email, so I am in the buy. I will probably look into coating the headers. I am in Sugar Land/Houston if anyone has a recommendation for a place to take them. Thanks.
