Question

So whats next? I have all this money waiting for the headers. Really though, what is the status of this group buy? How much are we really going to be pay for this set of headers? Would we have any options ie.. ceramic coating or Jet Hot coating.

I'm just really anxious since I have had this truck for 4 years and just now someone is being realistic about aftermarket headers that aren't gonna cost as much as a complete set of rims. Please keep us posted and most of all.....

Default Post Dyno Complete

Hey guys, sorry it took so long, it was just a matter of getting our schedules to agree. I have the charts and demo program to look at the dynos for yourselves if you want them. Just email me and I will send them to you. From what I can see it looks like the peak HP is now up from 147 to 155. So it looks like about an 8 HP gain. It some RPM ranges it gained about 10-11 HP. It is definitely a noticeable increase and I did not loose any low end torque. Hope this helps.

Thanks Erik.

As of now, the group buy is on a short hold while these headrs are being remanufactured to fit the Tundra. They will fit the Tacoma just fine and obviously the gains will be the same. Maybe someone can help me out here (i.e., moderator?) How would I go about getting a group buy on these headers for the Tacoma? I'll keep everyone posted on the Tundra header status.

Erik,

You might think about keeping the group buy together for Tacomas and Tundras. I don't know that there would be enough Tundras in on this otherwise to hold their own group buy and still make 10 purchases. I for one, will not be joining the group buy though I had a yes vote in on the poll. The missing cat is too much a concern for me and the visual test. I could even look at fabricating it further back but then if they nail me on headers it won't be a quick swap back to stock to pass for another 2 years. Not good enough odds anymore for this gambler against CARB. Guess they still beat me out of inexpensive headers .

I have to go along with DS. Once that cat got removed, I became worried about passing smog tests. Even though I voted in the yes group, I am going to have to pass until they are CARB certified.

I think just postponed until the fitment of the downpipe for the Tundras is solved.

I thought the policy was that only club members could participate in group buys.
