Default Next Step

CONGRATULATIONS CLUB MEMBERS !!!!!!!

Here is an excerpt of the GB Policy......

.....When the group buy poll has completed the sponsor and the Group Buy Moderator will review the results of the poll to determine if there is enough interest to hold the group buy.

If the group buy poll generates enough interest to hold the group buy, a group buy announcement thread will be created in the Group Buys Forum with the ordering details.
(This is PistolPetes next step in the process.)

Participants in the group buy will be able to submit orders for 1 week. The group buy announcement thread will be closed and titled "COMPLETED" when orders are no longer being accepted as part of the group buy.

The prices, and the details of the group buy will rest with the proposing member and the Group Buy Moderator.

Club Members must be offered preferred pricing over Registered Members OR the group buy will be open to Club Members only.

Thanks bmann (and the other 9 members) for coming on board. I also want the lock cover and the drain tubes but not sure about the pocket cutouts yet. Pistol if you could please find out how much it will cost for these 3 items. RichR said that they did the pocket cutouts for no extra charge at the last Retrax G/B. Thanks, Larry

I have a Retrax

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

polt,
I have had mine on about 3 months.I haven't had water leakage inside. But water does go into the canister and out the drain tubes if you opened it with water on it.So I would say get the drain tubes(no cost).I do get moisture at the front floor bed wall, but that is the small gap even after a line-x.I haven't had any snow yet,so can't say anything about that.
I would HIGHLY recommend you get the lock cover to keep out moisture,i.e. snow, ice rain and dirt. Also I have the stake pocket cut outs(no cost) so if you need to add tie downs you can later.
Right before I got the Retax I saw a cross section of a Roll n lock. The aluminum panels are individually hinged with the top laminte the only thing holding it together.I didn't like
that or the pull cord. The Retrax is one piece and lexan is pretty tough stuff.I haul alot with my truck.I have not seen the lock parts and I hope yxalbr can point out the differences I am curious. You can lock it at anywhere you need to.
The install was easy you just need help lifting the can and rails onto the truck.
The canister is about 13"x13" and you get a little over 6" from floor to can.
IF you have any questions ask me or call the people that makem.I called the poor guy five times asking questions. And they we great on helping on the install too.
http://www.rolltopcover.com
will give their info.
Good Luck on whatever you get. They also have installers around the country.
RichR

Here is the post from RichR about the pocket cutouts and the drain tubes that were included at no extra cost. See what you can do Pistol.
