Dog...out
Dogman,

I don't intend to be negative just cautious as I ran my first group buy last month (see latest retrax buy) and had similar problems..got ten people to vote yes and then had a hard time getting 10 people to follow thru with ordering...had to track down the names of those who voted yes and ask,beg and plead for them to order so that we could get the discount. Also my earlier posts were just to inform you of the new rules as you had mentioned they changed since you last participated and just didn't want you getting "reprimanded" like I did for not posting properly, in the right place, and mentioning items I shouldn't have....so I'm not trying to rain on your parade...I just know what a headache it was for me as a first timer and wanted to save you the hassle with the new regulations....

Rock on Dogman and hope all work out.....post some pics when you get them installed!!

These comments seem a bit on the harsh side of our staff. The GB policies are in place are for a reason. Being "reprimanded" (as you described it) is not intended to admonish the membership but rather serve as a reminder to all that we have policies that cover such an action, an action that helps protect our members.

It sometimes gets frustrating when members want to post a GB on something but for some reason decide not to follow policy. We have posted the GB policy for all to see and yet time after time we see the policy not being followed. This can be attributed to a couple of reasons; 1. the member was not aware of the policy. (which is invalid since a copy of the policy is openly available on the site). 2. The member openly chose not to follow the policy and just went ahead and did it anyway. (commonly called Flagrant Disregard). I feel that if something negatively did happen to our members on a GB, the members could come back at TS and lodge a complaint stating as to why wasnt a particular GB followed correctly.

Either way, the focus is to help the member correct the discrepancy in addition to providing an opportunity to learn how to conduct any GBs in the future while protecting the site at the same time. It would be nice if members would consider asking the staff for input or assistance before violating policies.

In closing, I want all the members to know that I'm NOT pointing this post at anyone or flaming any GB. Rather using this opportunity to help the membership learn about the policy and understand that we do have a staff ready and able to help them at any time.

Default AccessCab Rear Console

I recenently purchased a set of fronts for my 60/40 split bench ... see here. D@mn! The money I coulda saved!

I would purchase a rear cover if they would produce a version that left the rear console/armrest operational for the AccessCab. If enough are interested here, maybe Wet Okole would design one for us. Any chance?

Wink ON a lighter note

I just washed out my truck... {TEXAN} took a hose and warshed er down till the Lubbuk dirt was only laaght dust.{TEXAN}

I am getting her all nice and clean. In preparation for the new covers. I am going to work on the seats as the time gets closer. It was really bad, I was hosing down the front mats and the water color was almost brown. >>>>WHOA<<<

They were still drying out today, I think i will wash them one more time for good measure next week. its supposed to rain somtime this week.

I would suggest a project if you're bored to modify the rear console. It would be easy to do it a couple of ways.

1. Cut out the outline of the console and put some velcro on top or underneath for access and adjustment.
or
2. I would cut out the piece for the console, and sew back together along the cut. Remove console and sew cut out piece on top of it to match it and put it back in.

Just suggestions.

I like the covers so I plan to keep them and modify them if need be.

WARRANTY MAY BE VOIDED... I dunno.

Hey Dog, I have a quick question. "Q" setup shown here says 60/40 split bench with headrests and built-in armrest. The way that is setup looks reversed than what my seat looks like. The 40 is behind the driver and the 60 is behind the passenger as is everyone elses. (I hope). With the 60 portion be fitted for our back seats?

Not quite. The AccessCab rear seat is a solid back w/center armrest and a 40/60 split bench seat. Here's a picture of their seat cover that doesn't allow use of the rear armrest:

I've e-mailed Wet Okole to see if they can modify their design.

Brian

Just a reminder to folks, Hopefully if you have voted on this poll, you will actually order the product when the order window opens, however you ar not obligated to purchase just because you voted in the poll. Also, when the order window is open any CLUB MEMBER, even if you did not vote, can take advantage of the price discount offered and participate in the group buy.

Hey all,

If you're going to buy a set of Wet Okole's and, like me, have a tan interior, I got this email from Steve today at Wet Okole:

Quote:
Hello e_j_m, all our seatcovers come with Black outer panels as standard. The #235 mocha matches Toyota's the best if you have tan interior.
Thank you, Steve.
I figured there might be a couple people besides myself with this question.

Default Here's the low down

Here's a story to pass the time....

A frog jumps into a cool barrel of liquid down from a platform, out of the sun's rays. He enjoys the swim and kicks back for an hour or two. He now wishes to get out. He finds that the level of liquid is not high enough for him to jump out. He swims around and around in the barrel looking looking for a foothold, or something to pull him self up with. He can't find anything, he swims around and around and finally gets tired. He goes to middle and almost drowns, he suddenly has a sudden spurt of energy and swims around and around and keeps trying to feel around.. for another 5 minutes. He goes to the center again and gives up hope. Just as soon as his nose goes under, he feels a solid object below him and takes a huge leap, and gets out.

WHAT WAS THE LIQUID???

In heaven and hell there are people in certain sections that have the same fate, but end up with different punishments or rewards for their actions in life.

One place is a huge banquet hall with enormous amount of gourmet food. The best you have ever eaten. The people in heaven and hell are both given 10' chopsticks to eat with. They both sit at round tables, that fit 10 people and the food is in the center 5' away. The people in hell are all spilling their food and starving. While the people in heaven are eating just fine and have full tummys.

How is this possible?
Don't rack your brain over the math...

If you just read this then I have taken 2.5 min of your life that you won't get back. The point here is to be patient. And let nature take its course.

....

The poll ends tomorrow night, final counts will be run, and announcements made. Hopefully we will have enough to get free pockets, if not.. I am glad of the response we have had up til this point.

Here's an incentive for you. If you can answer both riddles before the end of the poll, I will pay for your front seat back pockets.(if we don't get enough orders) You have to answer both correctly.

There may be similar riddles out there, but I have my answer, and that's the one I want.

spelling error corrected the frog riddle is back in
