Default SS Autochrome V6 Header Group

Well folks, here it is, the real deal! For those of you who voted in favor of the group buy, thank you. Now, here are the guidelines:

First step; All participants are to email me directly at REV29k@aol.com. The guys over at SS Autochrome have their hands full already so rather than dealing with each of you individually, they've asked me to moderate the group buy to make sure everyone's transactions go over smoothly. With that said, again, feel free to contact me at any time during the group buy with your questions/concerns. I check my email about 3 times a day, so I'll get back with everyone as soon as I can.

Moving on; once I've received your email, I'll send you a standardized reply with instructions on how to make payment. I will include, however, an individual confirmation number that will be used in various parts of the transaction, so keep up with it! The deposit amount is set at $50 and is non-refundable. This secures your order, (1 set of headers), and your price (non-member/member) of $250 and $225 respectively. Upon completion of the group buy (group buy will close on Sat. July 24th), everyone will have 3 calendar days to make their final payments to SS Autochrome, or lose their deposits. There is no need to email me at the end of the group buy regarding payment, however, if you have any discrepancies, I'll be happy to help.

In addition, if all participants will chime in with a post in this thread, this will help keep the general consensus up to date with the group buy progress. So tell your all of your V6 compadres to jump in on this deal! Now, let's start up that 'ol Christmassy feeling and get the ball rolling!

-Erik

Tuns, do these guys have any dyno results you can share. I'm interested in a set of these headers. However, I'm not interested if they said, we only got a 3 hp increase, but damn, they look good under the hood. Sign me up if they'll make a worthwhile difference.

I don't have a dyno sheet that I can post just yet, but the results were good...around 17 hp and 21 ft/lbs trq at the wheels. Anyhow, I'll try and get some hard evidence soon.

Yes, they can be installed with hand tools...as far as warranty goes, I'm not sure. that would be a question you'd have to ask your service dept.

Just thought I would throw this question out there...Do you think having dual exhaust combined with these headers is going to make me loose power or will I gain some?

Erik,

How long are you going to keep this buy open. Given the lack of apparent interest per this post, I'm thinking it might be worth contacting SS direct and ordering these headers now. Any thoughts?

The group buy will only be open for 10 days, regardless of the number sold. As far a getting a deposit in, as long as it's in by the end of the group buy, you're good. All deposits will be through PayPal so if you don't yet have an account, set one up or use a friends...it's free. I'll be sending out the deposit info to those of you who requested it today. Thanks again.

Well, only two days left and it looks like we've only got three takers. Dunno where all the other interested people went. I know this got off to a slow start and had a few bumps along the way, but what a price for a great set of headers! Hurry up guys!
